Bylaws

The seventh GSMath Conference will take place in Houston, Texas in person, during February 24-26, 2023. The participants will arrive at the conference hotel, DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Houston Hobby Airport, where the conference check-in takes place on Friday, February 24 during 4:00-7:00 pm. There will be a social hour and reception at the conference hotel on Friday, February 24 during 5:00-8:00 pm.

The conference itself will take place on the campus of Texas Southern University on Saturday, February 25, where the conference check-in is available and the breakfast is served during 7:30-9:00 am. The details can be found at the conference agenda indicated at this webpage. The conference on the campus of Texas Southern University will end after the banquet and award ceremony during 5:30-7:30 pm on Saturday, February 25. The participants will then return to the conference hotel. There will be breakfast served for student participants at the conference hotel during 7:30-9:30 am on Sunday, February 26. There will also be breakfast served for the faculty participants during 7:30-9:30 am on Sunday, February 26, where there will be some additional interactions among the faculty. The suggested travel timeline is the arrival on February 24 at the conference hotel and the departure on February 26. The keynote speaker at the conference will be Prof. Juan Meza from the University of California, Merced.

The Science Building is at about a 7-minute walking distance (0.4 miles) from the visitor parking location, West Parking Garage-Ennis Garage at Blodgett, whose address is 3010 Ruth St, Houston, TX 77004. The parking is free to the conference participants at floor level 2 and above. The entrance to the parking garage is indicated on the campus map provided at this webpage. Please enter the garage from Blodgett while driving west on Blodgett toward Ennis. Here is the link to the garage:
